At the Park

I took Maddie and Aidan to the park when it was nice a few weeks ago. We hiked to a pond that i remembered was really pretty, but when I got there the pond was gone. I had no idea that they drain the pond every 5 years, but they did. The pond was gone. So obviously we made our way through the reeds so I could make Maddie stand in it. The whole area smelled like dead fish (we're still not sure where the fish went since we didn't see any). Maddie instantly started sinking in the mud, so that didn't last long.
